How does the creation process differ between filled settings and modular pearls?

For filled settings, you work directly in the silver piece, layering inclusions and resin. For modular pearls, you create the entire bead in a silicone mold, then attach silver end caps. Modular pearls require more steps, including demolding and polishing.
